Young Chef Program Class 1 – Kitchen Basics & Knife Skills:
- Appetizer: Bruschetta
- Entrée: Chicken & Vegetable Stir Fry with Rice
- Dessert: Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries
About:
Does your child want to truly expand their culinary repertoire? Consider enrolling them in our Young Chef Program where students learn how to whip up delicious meals! Each class, students will listen to an initial lecture from our chef instructor. They will then head into the kitchen to utilize the skills they’ve just learned, crafting a different menu before they all sit down and enjoy their dishes together together. This is a great opportunity for students to learn both basic and advanced culinary techniques and develop a higher level of know-how.
All skill-levels welcome.
More Info:
- The Young Chef Program is held on select weekdays and includes all supplies, ingredients and beverages.
- Cancellation must be made 72 hours in advance of course time for fee refund. If you do not cancel within the 3 days, you will receive credit at Classic Cooking.
- Classes WILL NOT be held on school holidays. Please check our website calendar to view the scheduled classes.
- Menus vary each class. Students will prepare the meal and sit down and eat together. Recipes/menus will be sent via email beforehand.
- Students MUST wear close-toed shoes and tie back long hair as per Arizona health code.
- The Young Chef Cooking Program classes are DROP OFF ONLY. Sorry, no parents allowed!
- PLEASE DROP OFF AND PICK UP IN A TIMELY MANNER.
- A late fee will be assessed for each 15 minutes of tardiness.

A MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION FORM must be on file for your child to attend.
- It is very important that we receive at least 72 hours advance notice of ANY food allergies or dietary restrictions. Please let us know at least 72 hours in advance; otherwise modifications will not be made.
