Each student will learn how to debone a chicken\, and a stir fry will be made with the chicken and the vegetables. Purchasing and care of knives will also be discussed. \nThis is a great entry-level course for beginners looking to improve their kitchen skills. DESCRIPTION:Meats & Sauces Series Week 1 – Beef:\n\nSeared Flank Steak with Red Wine Vinegar and Shallot Pan Sauce\nGrilled Shirt Steak with Argentinian Chimichurri\nFlat Iron Au Poivre or Sauce Béarnaise\n\nAbout: \nJoin us for a succulent course on the choicest cuts and the best sauces to pair with them! In each class\, we will discuss and apply proper protein cookery methods\, explain anatomy\, location and application of certain cuts\, demonstrate and participate in breakdown and butchery of proteins\, as well as learn proper sauce making techniques.\nEach week follows the same structure: students will listen to the chef instructor’s lecture over the weekly topics before heading into the kitchen to make the respective dishes themselves.\nCost:\nThe Meats and Sauces Series is $600.00 for all six weeks of classes. DESCRIPTION:Practical Series – Topic:\n\nSoufflés\n\nDessert & Savory\n\n\n\nAbout:\nThe Practical Series is Classic Cooking Academy’s flagship program. Spanning 24 weeks\, this series will educate you around the logistics of the kitchen one step at a time. In each class\, students will first learn their weekly topic(s) from the chef’s lecture before heading into the kitchen to cook dishes on what they’ve just learned. By the end of the course\, students will have a full understanding of nearly every facet of cooking. Don’t be hesitant if you think you’re not up to the task – this class is open for any and all skill levels. \nCosts:\nLump Sum Cost of Practical Series – $2\,500.00 \nPayment Plan of Practical Series – Deposit of $550.00 and then six payments of $325.00 on the first class of each month. \n**NOTE**: In the event of cancellation\, please refer to our Enrollment Agreement for a complete breakdown of our cancellation policy. PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL TO BE PLACED ON OUR WAIT-LIST.\nMenu – Rustico Italiano:\n\nShrimp Scampi with Grilled Garlic Rubbed Crostini\nProsciutto Wrapped Pork Tenderloin\nCreamy Polenta\nRoasted Asparagus\nFresh Berry Crostata\n\nAbout:\nOur most popular stand-alone cooking class\, this is Classic Cooking Academy’s bread and butter. Guests come in\, find a seat\, have a drink\, and meet the chefs who go over each item on the menu. After our staff covers what each table will be cooking\, guests split up among the tables to prepare one dish of their choosing.  At the end\, our chefs take over the kitchen\, while guests return to the dining room and are served a delectable three-course dinner complete with an appetizer\, entrée\, and dessert. \nMore Info:\n\nTo make a reservation\, please use the PayPal button below. However\, we will charge your group an 18% service fee at the time of your reservation. With this in mind\, it is preferred that you register your entire guest count all at once.\n\n\nGourmet Cooking Classes are held on select Fridays\, 6:30 – 9:00pm. Attendees must be 21 years or older to consume any alcohol.\nWe have a 72-hour cancellation policy. This means that you have three days before the class starts to cancel or change your reservation.\n\n If you have to cancel within this time period\, you will not receive a credit to apply towards a different event. We do not issue monetary refunds.\n\n\nNo dietary restrictions or allergies will be accommodated for this class. If one or more items on tonight’s menu conflicts with your needs\, please reserve spots for an alternative Gourmet Cooking Class.\nClass size is limited to 20 people.
