DESCRIPTION:Basic knife skills are important\, whether a veteran cook or a beginner\, everyone can use some basic training with kitchen knives. Class includes demonstration by Chef Pascal Dionot\, followed by practical skills of various cuts of fruits and vegetables\, herbs and garlic. Each student will learn how to debone a chicken\, and a stir fry will be made with the chicken and the vegetables. DESCRIPTION:Menu:\nLentil Soup with Bacon\nBeef with Red Wine Sauce & Root Vegetables\nHoney & Herb Biscuits\nApple Custard Tart \nAbout:\nOur most popular stand-alone cooking class\, this is Classic Cooking Academy’s bread and butter. Guests come in\, find a seat\, have a drink\, and meet the chefs who go over each item on the menu. After our staff covers what each table will be cooking\, guests split up among the tables to prepare one dish of their choosing.  At the end\, our chefs take over the kitchen\, while guests return to the dining room and are served a delectable three-course dinner complete with an appetizer\, entrée\, and dessert. \nMore Info:\n\nGourmet Cooking Classes are held on select Fridays\, 6:30 – 9:00pm. Spanning 24 weeks and hosted by Chef Josh Hebert\, this series will educate you around the logistics of the kitchen one step at a time. In each class\, students will first learn their weekly topic(s) from the chef’s lecture before heading into the kitchen to cook dishes on what they’ve just learned. By the end of the course\, students will have a full understanding of nearly every facet of cooking. Don’t be hesitant if you think you’re not up to the task – this class is open for any and all skill levels. \nLogistics:\n\nStudents will be learning techniques of cooking rather than looking at recipes.\n\nAs a result\, bring your own notes and a writing utensil.\n\n\nIf you still need to enroll\, fill out our Enrollment Agreement and send it to us via email or in-person.\nClass starts at 6:30pm sharp.
