Hosted by Executive Chef Andrew Schmidt\, this weekly program is designed to teach students how to make quick\, convenient\, and delicious gastronomic meals. This series aims to target professional workers who still wish to make a tasty dinner at the end of their workday\, parents who wish to improve their weekly dining catalog\, or simply anyone who wishes to learn new dishes that are agreeable to both their schedule\, work-load\, and palate! No prior experience necessary to register – all skill-levels are welcome! \nEach week follows the same structure. Students will listen to the chef instructor’s lecture and watch his demonstration over the weekly topics before heading into the kitchen to make the respective dishes themselves. In teams of four\, kitchen groups will be responsible for each week’s protein\, starch\, and vegetable-cookery. With topics covering cakes\, pies\, tarts\, breads\, creams\, chocolates\, and so much more\, this class is as tantalizing as it is appetizing. Hosted by Chef Susan Kolman\, you will get a professional look inside the pastry world. \nCosts:\nLump Sum Cost of Pastry Series – $1\,250.00 \nPayment Plan of Pastry Series – Deposit of $275.00 and then three payments of $325.00 on the first class of each month. \n**NOTE**: In the event of cancellation\, please refer to our Enrollment Agreement for a complete breakdown of our cancellation policy. No vouchers accepted for registration.\nStudents will be learning both techniques of cooking and the specificities of adhering to pastry recipes. As a result\, bring your own notes and a writing utensil. We will provide cooking equipment and recipes for all respective dishes.\nClass starts at 6:30pm sharp. DESCRIPTION:Week 2 – Beef\n\nSteak au Poivre\nGreen Bean Bundles\nRoasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes\n\n\nAbout:\nJoin us in this six-week program as we demonstrate straightforward cookery! Hosted by Executive Chef Andrew Schmidt\, this weekly program is designed to teach students how to make quick\, convenient\, and delicious gastronomic meals. This series aims to target professional workers who still wish to make a tasty dinner at the end of their workday\, parents who wish to improve their weekly dining catalog\, or simply anyone who wishes to learn new dishes that are agreeable to both their schedule\, work-load\, and palate! No prior experience necessary to register – all skill-levels are welcome! \nEach week follows the same structure. Students will listen to the chef instructor’s lecture and watch his demonstration over the weekly topics before heading into the kitchen to make the respective dishes themselves. In teams of four\, kitchen groups will be responsible for each week’s protein\, starch\, and vegetable-cookery. Once the food is prepared and plated\, everyone gets to enjoy a family-style meal of what they’ve just made with a complimentary glass of wine. \nCost:\nThe Simple Meals Series is $600.00 for all six weeks of classes.
