Hosted by Chef Jeanette Ling\, the Asian Series will educate students on parochial Asian cultures\, their culinary staples\, and the context behind it all! This series is open to all skill-levels\, ideal for those who really gravitate towards the food of Japan\, China\, Vietnam and other neighboring states! \nEach week follows the same structure: students will listen to the chef instructor’s lecture over the weekly topics and regions before heading into the kitchen to make the respective dishes themselves. DESCRIPTION:Practical Series – Topic:\n\nAsian\n\nSushi\nEgg Rolls\n\n\n\nAbout:\nThe Practical Series is Classic Cooking Academy’s flagship program. Spanning 24 weeks\, this series will educate you around the logistics of the kitchen one step at a time. In each class\, students will first learn their weekly topic(s) from the chef’s lecture before heading into the kitchen to cook dishes on what they’ve just learned. By the end of the course\, students will have a full understanding of nearly every facet of cooking. This is a great way for students to learn basic and advanced baking techniques and develop a higher level of skill. Available to ages 10-17. All skill-levels are welcome for our kids baking classes! \nMore Info:\n\nCOST: $390 for 6-week session. No registrations for individual classes. Class is limited to 16 students. DESCRIPTION:Week 5 – China:\n\nShredded Pork Bao Buns\nKung Pao Chicken\nStir-Fried Bok Choy\nDan Dan Noodles\nChinese Almond Cookies\n\nAsian Series – About:\nJoin us in this six-week program as we take a specific look at regional Asian cuisines that have become fancied by the entire world. Hosted by Chef Jeanette Ling\, the Asian Series will educate students on parochial Asian cultures\, their culinary staples\, and the context behind it all! This series is open to all skill-levels\, ideal for those who really gravitate towards the food of Japan\, China\, Vietnam and other neighboring states! \nEach week follows the same structure: students will listen to the chef instructor’s lecture over the weekly topics and regions before heading into the kitchen to make the respective dishes themselves. Once the food is prepared and plated\, everyone gets to enjoy a family-style meal of what they’ve just made with a complimentary glass of wine. \nAsian Series – Cost:\nThe Asian Series is $600.00 for all six weeks of classes. Students may not sign up for individual classes. No chef jacket fee is added for this program. \nMore Info:\n\nCertain weeks of the program may be pushed back for other events.
