Each week\, a different menu will be prepared by students before they all sit down together to enjoy the meal. This is a great way for students to learn basic and advanced cooking techniques and develop a higher level of skill. Available to ages 8-17. \nMore Info:\n\nCOST: $280 for 4-week session. Individual class registration is prohibited.\nTo register\, use the PayPal button below. DESCRIPTION:About:\nKeep your mind as sharp as your blade. Basic knife skills are important\, whether a veteran cook or a beginner\, everyone can use some basic training with kitchen knives. Class includes demonstration by our chef instructor\, followed by practical skills of various cuts of fruits and vegetables\, herbs and garlic. Each student will learn how to debone a chicken\, and a stir fry will be made and served with the chicken and the vegetables. Purchasing and care of knives will also be discussed. When it comes to knife maintenance\, you’d be hard pressed to find a better course. \nThis is a great entry-level course for beginners looking to improve their kitchen skills. This series is open to all skill-levels\, ideal for those who want to become more worldly when it comes to international cuisine. \nEach week follows the same structure: students will listen to the chef instructor’s lecture over the weekly topics before heading into the kitchen to make the respective dishes themselves. Once the food is prepared and plated\, everyone gets to enjoy a family-style meal of what they’ve just made with a complimentary glass of wine. \nAround the World Series – Cost:\nThe Around the World Series is $600.00 for all six weeks of classes. Spanning 24 weeks\, this series will educate you around the logistics of the kitchen one step at a time. By the end of the course\, students will have a full understanding of nearly every facet of cooking.
