DESCRIPTION:Young Chef Program Class 1 – Kitchen Basics & Knife Skills:\n\nAppetizer: Bruschetta\nEntrée: Chicken & Vegetable Stir Fry with Rice\nDessert: Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries\n\nAbout:\nDoes your child want to truly expand their culinary repertoire? Consider enrolling them in our Young Chef Program where students learn how to whip up delicious meals! Each class\, students will listen to an initial lecture from our chef instructor. They will then head into the kitchen to utilize the skills they’ve just learned\, crafting a different menu before they all sit down and enjoy their dishes together together. This is a great opportunity for students to learn both basic and advanced culinary techniques and develop a higher level of know-how.  \nAll skill-levels welcome. \nMore Info:\n\nThe Young Chef Program is held on select weekdays and includes all supplies\, ingredients and beverages.\nCancellation must be made 72 hours in advance of course time for fee refund. If you do not cancel within the 3 days\, you will receive credit at Classic Cooking. \nClasses WILL NOT be held on school holidays. Please check our website calendar to view the scheduled classes.\nMenus vary each class. Students will prepare the meal and sit down and eat together. Recipes/menus will be sent via email beforehand.\nStudents MUST wear close-toed shoes and tie back long hair as per Arizona health code.\nThe Young Chef Cooking Program classes are DROP OFF ONLY. The Around the World Series will educate students on individual cultures\, their culinary staples\, and the context behind it all! This series is open to all skill-levels\, ideal for those who want to become more worldly when it comes to international cuisine. \nEach week follows the same structure: students will listen to the chef instructor’s lecture over the weekly topics before heading into the kitchen to make the respective dishes themselves. Once the food is prepared and plated\, everyone gets to enjoy a family-style meal of what they’ve just made with a complimentary glass of wine. \nAround the World Series – Cost:\nThe Around the World Series is $600.00 for all six weeks of classes. Students may not sign up for individual classes. No chef jacket fee is added for this program. \nMore Info:\n\nCertain weeks of the Around the World program may be pushed back for other events. Classic Cooking keeps all currently enrolled students updated with any schedule changes.\nWe also offer a variety of stand-alone recreational cooking classes that focus on various global cuisines as well.
