DESCRIPTION:Pastry Class – Menu:\nClassic Puff\nQuick Puff\nBouchées\nVol-au-Vent\nNapoleon\nAbout:\nFor the debonair baker who has the savoir-faire!  Learn to make delicious pastries that will impress your family and friends.\nJoin Chef Pascal Dionot for a specialty pastry class featuring the most elegant dough in the kitchen: puff pastries. He will talk about Classic Puffs and explain why they take 4 – 6 hours to make. Chef Pascal will also demonstrate Quick Puff\, and each student will make a batch of quick puff pastries. This class is open to any and all skill-levels.\n(If you would like to take your food home with you\, please bring your own to-go containers.)\nMore Info:\n\nTo register\, use the PayPal button below. This means that you have three days before the class starts to cancel or change your reservation.\n\nIf you have to cancel within this time period\, you are subject to forfeiture of any payments made to this class or voucher usage.\n\n\nPastry Classes are held on select Saturdays\, 10am – 1:00pm. Attendees must be 21 years or older to consume any alcohol.\nNo dietary restrictions or allergies will be accommodated for this class. If one or more items on today’s menu conflicts with your needs\, please reserve spots for an alternative Pastry Class.\nClass size is limited to 20 people. Reservations are based on a ‘first come-first serve’ basis.\nClass starts at 10am sharp. Please be here at least 10 minutes early wearing comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes. CALL OR EMAIL TO REGISTER.\nMenu:\n\nClassic Italian Style Beef Carpaccio\nButternut Squash Risotto with Toasted Pine Nuts and Fried Sage\nVeal Marsala with Pomme Purée and Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon\nPan Seared Duck Breast a l’Orange with Glazed Rainbow Carrots and Parmesan Garlic Gnocchi\nFrench Bistro “Floating Island Dessert”\n\nAbout:\nOne of our few classes that does not incorporate hands-on cooking. Instead\, guests sit down\, meet our chef(s) and sommelier\, and enjoy a five course dinner with specially paired wines. With each course\, our head chef will talk about the food\, while our sommelier will discuss the wine’s taste\, variety\, background\, and vintage. \nFor this individual dinner\, we will be having lectures presented by our guest sommelier Kevin Karwowski of Quail Distributing! \nThe Sommelier – Kevin Karwowski:\n \nBorn and raised in Indianapolis\, Kevin studied at Purdue University before moving to the Valley of the Sun in 2002. He decided to turn his passion for all beverages into a career when he started his first full-time job at a large wine retailer in 2005.
