DESCRIPTION:Understanding the Wines of Northern Italy – About:\nItaly is one of the top wine-producing countries in the world. Wine shops and restaurant menus offer countless styles of varieties from the region\, but do you actually know what kind of grape is in a Chianti? Have you tried a Nero d’ Avola? Maybe you have yet to find your favorite Italian wine? \nThis class will offer several tastings of wines commonly found on menus and local wine shops and we will de-mystify the labels so you can shop and order Italian wines with confidence! \nBecause there are so many wines that we want to share with you\, we will be offering two classes: Italian Wines from the North and Italian Wines from the South! Each will have different wines to taste\, and one is not a prerequisite to the other. \nGuests will be able to enjoy complimentary glasses of wine to analyze and enjoy. Lisa is a Certified Specialist of Wine with the Society of Wine Educators and has been studying and attending conferencing with the organization for over 12 years. \nShe has also worked with the school as the Wine Expert for their wine paired dinners\, presenting and educating the guests on the wines served for the evening. Her passion for wine has led her to travel to many of the world’s wine regions. \nMore Info:\n\nCost: $75 per person.\n\nTips for our staff for this evening are not expected but are greatly appreciated. All gratuities are evenly distributed amongst our staff members.\n\n\nTo register\, please use the PayPal button below. There is no portion of the class that involves hands-on cooking or demonstrations.\nWe have a 72-hour cancellation policy.
