DESCRIPTION:Menu:\n\nAlmond Pear Cupcakes with Pear Buttercream\nZucchini Chocolate Chip Bread\nPecan Pumpkin Muffins with Honey Cardamom Butter\n\nAbout:\nFor the debonair baker who has the savoir-faire!\nStudents will work together in this hands-on class\, led by the instructor.  Participants will work in groups up to 4 on all the recipes (unless otherwise noted). Expect to be standing\, cooking or baking and engaged for most of the class\, following the instructors lecture and/or demo.   After class students will enjoy a generous taste of every dish along with refreshments and will be able to ask questions about the class.\n\n(If you would like to take your food home with you\, please bring your own to-go containers.)\nMore Info:\n\nPastry Classes are held on select Saturdays\, 10am – 1:00pm. Attendees must be 21 years or older to consume any alcohol.\nTo make a reservation\, please call 480-502-0177 or email info@ccacademy.edu.\n$70 per person. Gratuity is not included in the class price.\n\nTips for our staff for this evening are not expected but are greatly appreciated. All gratuities are evenly distributed amongst our staff members.\n\n\nWe have a 72-hour cancellation policy. This means that you have three days before the class starts to cancel or change your reservation.\n\nIf you have to cancel within this time period\, you are subject to forfeiture of any payments made to this class or voucher usage.\n\n\nNo dietary restrictions or allergies will be accommodated for this class. If one or more items on today’s menu conflicts with your needs\, please reserve spots for an alternative Pastry Class.\nClass size is limited to 20 people. Reservations are based on a ‘first come-first serve’ basis.\nClass starts at 10am sharp. Please be here at least 10 minutes early wearing comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes. DESCRIPTION:About:\nClassic Cooking is excited to host an Oktoberfest event on Saturday\, October 8th from 5:00PM – 7:30PM! Guests will be able to come in\, mingle\, and enjoy an authentic German meal prepared by Chef Steven Wagenbach. Beer pairings from Crescent Crown will highlight each individual dish and their representative will be able to guide guests through each complimenting beverage. Come join us for an evening of delicious and fun dining!  \nMenu:\n\nPickled Red Cabbage & Bavarian Smoked Cheese\n\n\nBeer: Hofbräu München Original\n\n\n\nBratwurst with Pretzel Roll & Mustard\n\n\nBeer: Hofbräu München Dunkel \n\n\n\nGrilled Chicken with Lemon Thyme Butter\, German Potato Salad\, & Glazed Carrots\n\n\nBeer: Paulaner München Oktoberfest Bier \n\n\n\nGerman Dark Chocolate Fudge Brownies with Dark Cherry Preserves\n\n\nBeer: Schneider Weisse Aventinus Weizen Doppelbock \n\n\n\n\nThe Chef – Steven Wagenbach:\nAfter graduating high school in 1978\, Chef Steven Wagenbach pursued a career in the culinary field. He accepted an apprenticeship through Triton College in Chicago for three years. The program had rigorous classroom and restaurant experiences to complete his training. \nChef Wagenbach worked in the most prestigious restaurants Chicago had to offer. He worked as a saucier chef for two years atSinclair’s restaurant\, which ranked as a five star establishment located in Lake Forest. Then he decided to work as an assistant pastry chef at the Marriott Lincolnshire resort. Chef Wagenbach had a remarkable mentor who taught him to pull sugar and make elaborate desserts for four years. Finally\, the Hyatt Gainey Ranch Scottsdale resort hired him as an assistant pastry chef in 1986. He designed and created wedding cakes\, pulled sugar\, chocolate truffles\, and other delicacies. \nSteven Wagenbach had the desire to become a classroom teacher. He received a degree in elementary school training and taught third and fourth grades respectively from 1996 to 2018. Steven worked in the Madison and Paradise Valley Unified School Districts over his career. \nNow having settled in Arizona\, Chef Wagenbach has a reignited passion to create dishes in the kitchen.  \nMore Information:\n\n\n\nThis is NOT a cooking class; no part of this event will be hands-on or demonstration.\n$90 per person. Gratuity is not included in the class price.\n\nTips for our staff for this evening are not expected but are greatly appreciated. However\, we will charge your group an 18% service fee at the time of your reservation.
