DESCRIPTION:Week 5 – Keto\n\nLecture Portion (20-30 minutes)\n\nThe ins and outs of the ketogenic diet trend will be thoroughly clarified. We will explain the difference between metabolizing sugar or carbohydrates for quick energy versus metabolizing fat storage for long term energy output. Diet restrictions\, encouragements\, and substitutions that are in alignment with the ketogenic diet will all be discussed and explained in this class.\n\n\nMenu:\n\nStarter/Soup/Salad:\n\nKeto Cobb Salad\n\n\nMain Course:\n\nGrilled and Sliced Flank Steak topped with Compound Butter\, served with Roasted Spaghetti Squash tossed in Pesto and Cheesy Broccoli and Cauliflower Gratin\n\n\nDessert:\n\nChocolate Budino\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout:\nJoin us in this six-week program as we take a look at the nutritional side of the kitchen and dining table.
