DESCRIPTION:Practical Series – Topic:\n\nDuck\n\nDeboned\nStuffed and Roasted Leg\nSeared Breast with Orange Sauce\n\n\n\nAbout:\nThe Practical Series is Classic Cooking Academy’s flagship program. Spanning 24 weeks and hosted by Chef Josh Hebert\, this series will educate you around the logistics of the kitchen one step at a time. In each class\, students will first learn their weekly topic(s) from the chef’s lecture before heading into the kitchen to cook dishes on what they’ve just learned. By the end of the course\, students will have a full understanding of nearly every facet of cooking. Don’t be hesitant if you think you’re not up to the task – this class is open for any and all skill levels. \nCosts:\nLump Sum Cost of Practical Series – $2\,500.00 \nPayment Plan of Practical Series – Deposit of $550.00 and then three payments of $325.00 on the first class of each month. \n**NOTE**: In the event of cancellation\, 15% of the total cost will be retained by Classic Cooking Academy to cover administrative costs. \nRegister:\nStep 1: Download and return your completed Application Form and Enrollment Agreement. \nClick to Download our Enrollment Agreement and send a completed copy to our staff. \nClick to Download our Catalog to have on file for reference. \nStep 2: Place your initial deposit of $550.00 plus the $35.00 chef jacket fee. DESCRIPTION:German Cuisine Class – About: \nClassic Cooking is pleased to offer a speciality German Cuisine class on Friday\, May 21st! Please join us for this Specialty event which will feature authentic German food and memorable moments!  \nCost: $65 per person. Seating at 6:30pm. To check for availability\, please call 480-502-0177. \nMenu Prepared by Chef Steven Wagenbach:\n\nKartoffel Suppe (Potato Soup)\nJaeger Schnitzel (Breaded Veal Cutlets w/ Mushrooms)\nSpaetzle\nSauerkraut und Apfel Salat (Sauerkraut & Apple Salad)\nLinzertorte (Hazelnut & Almond Cake w/ Raspberry Filling)\n\nMore About The Instructor:\nAfter graduating high school in 1978\, Chef Steven Wagenbach pursued a career in the culinary field. He accepted an apprenticeship through Triton College in Chicago for three years. The program had rigorous classroom and restaurant experiences to complete his training. \nChef Wagenbach worked in the most prestigious restaurants Chicago had to offer. He worked as a saucier chef for two years at Sinclair’s restaurant\, which ranked as a five star establishment located in Lake Forest. Then he decided to work as an assistant pastry chef at the Marriott Lincolnshire resort. Chef Wagenbach had a remarkable mentor who taught him to pull sugar and make elaborate desserts for four years. Finally\, the Hyatt Gainey Ranch Scottsdale resort hired him as an assistant pastry chef in 1986. He designed and created wedding cakes\, pulled sugar\, chocolate truffles\, and other delicacies.  \nSteven Wagenbach had the desire to become a classroom teacher. He received a degree in elementary school training and taught third and fourth grades respectively from 1996 to 2018. Steven worked in the Madison and Paradise Valley Unified School Districts over his career.  \nNow having settled in Arizona\, Chef Wagenbach has a reignited passion to create dishes in the kitchen. \nMore Info:\n\nThis is a Specialty Class\, and no vouchers will be accepted.\nAttendees must be 21 years or older to consume any alcohol.\n$65 per person. We have a 72-hour cancellation policy. This means that you have three days before the class starts to cancel or change your reservation.
