From humble beginnings\, Yoko was raised by a working single mother\, so she frequently prepared meals for herself growing up. After marrying a United States Marine and coming to the U.S. for the first time\, there were no Japanese restaurants where her husband was stationed\, so Yoko frequently shared her skills with other Japanese spouses\, so they could have a taste of home. Then\, becoming a full-time mother to two girls\, Yoko spent much time perfecting her craft of traditional Japanese cooking at home. She worked in various Japanese restaurants throughout her career but being a mother and military wife always came first. Now\, her children have left the nest and her husband is retired\, and Yoko is eager to share her craft with others. \nMore Info:\n\nAttendees must be 21 years or older to consume any alcohol.\n$65 per person.
